As promised, here is a closer look of the promising clothes from the Lucio San Pedro Fall 2013 Collection.

As I’ve stated on my previous post, this collection is composed of a wide array of casual to work tops and dresses using fabrics such as satinized twills, matte charmeuse, poplins and knits.

The unique cuts and styles made out of different fabric combinations are carefully crafted to flatter the woman’s figure without sacrificing comfort by using mostly stretch fabrications.

As for its visual prowess, the collection combines floral inspirations with hand drawn lines and curves fused with lyrics and titles of San Pedro’s famous orchestra pieces. Colors range from the basic black and white to subtle tones such as beige and teal. Certainly, these pieces are made to capture the essence and mark of the Filipina’s modern beauty.

I attended Blue Water Day Spa’s event last week launching their newest promo, the search for the first-ever Blue Water Babies.

I was so excited when I got the invite from Penshoppe to join them once again for Philippine Fashion Week. Penshoppe became one of the most awaited shows ever since they started to join Fashion Week. They always come up with the most creative setting and stage and of course, their must-have pieces!

This season, their show started with a video presentation of their ambassadors that are definitely to beat like Leighton Meester, Zac Efron, Mario Maurer, Baifern Pimchanok, the boys from One Direction, Ian Somerhalder and the new faces to join Penshoppe, Nina Dobrev and Josh Bowman. Now, who wouldn’t love this brand more with these pretty faces in the family.

Not only that, Penshoppe has more good news during the end of their show which was the introduction of their newest brand director, Jeff Bascon.

Now, let me share to you my favorite pieces from Penshoppe’s Holiday 2013 Collection.

I love these looks for the guys. A guy can never go wrong with these clothes. The typical boy-next-door looks that girls love to be with.

Now these outfits are rockstars! I love all the looks and I want to copy them all, time to let out the badass girl in me. Skater skirts, animal print tops, leather jackets and vests, studded clothes. I heard everybody screamed; “I want”.

I find these looks perfect for back-to-school outfits considering the weather now. School is never an excuse to be out of style.

A collection of outfit looks perfect for the night. The black, white and gray combination always work elegantly and can be easily pulled off. The sequined and metallic details on the clothes are also so nice.

And now, let me share to you my best of the bests. The looks that stood out for me and the ones that are on top of my Penshoppe shopping list!

Who said happy colors are only for Summer? I just love how these looks were put together. I haven’t been in love with Penshoppe this much until I saw these lovely pieces! What do you think?

Overall, the show was amazing. Every outfit that walked down the runway was pleasant to the eyes. The pieces were mixed and matched perfectly and they are very wearable which is one thing that I love about Penshoppe’s clothes. They are definitely made for everyone. Almost every piece went down my shopping list.

I love the new collection!

And Jeff Bascon ended with, “I’m just gonna say something short and sweet. No need for panels, no need for labels, just a strong point of view. Penshoppe!”

These were definitely the perfect words to end the show, no more no less. These clothes will be available at Penshoppe stores nationwide soon!

I have already blogged about SUITEBLANCO before here, and you knew how excited I am for its official launch here in the Philippines the moment I read all about this amazing brand. I have provided you a sneak peek of their Spring Bloom Collection before and what to expect from one of the most prominent fashion brands in Spain. Now, let me show you more of Suiteblanco and their first ever store in the Philippines!

I was so glad to have been invited to join Suiteblanco’s grand launch at SM Aura Premier. I knew it would be a great event shared by celebrities, writers and editors, models, fashion bloggers, etc.

An afternoon filled with Music, Cocktails and Shopping!

DJ Callum David provided just the right vibe all throughout the event.

It was hosted by the lovely Kim Jones.

SUITEBLANCO’s muses were also introduced during the launch wearing none other than the pretty clothes from the brand. 

I think they all made the clothes lovelier, I also noticed that the muses are in all shapes, sizes and colors which just proves that Suiteblanco is really for everyone.

Spain’s ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency, Luis Arias Romero was also there to welcome Suiteblanco to the Philippines.

And one of the things I was looking very much forward on the grand launch was visiting SUITEBLANCO’s store!

And oh was it beautiful! It was filled with to-die-for clothes on every corner. Definitely a shopping haven! Everyone went crazy looking at the pieces and shopping. Check these out,

Me? I was in awe the moment I entered the store, they have everything I need and want! And let me tell you that they are all indeed very affordable.

Freeway just recently honored another great artist during the launch of the National Artist Collector’s Series for Fall 2013. Known for its collaboration with different renowned Filipino artists, Freeway chose a man full of talent and ingenuity as the 9th National Artist to pay homage to for this series. He’s none other than Lucio San Pedro. It was such a great privilege to have been invited again by Freeway to be a part of the launch, let me share to you some photos from the event and their new collection.

Lucio San Pedro, National Artist for Music, is a great Filipino composer and teacher. Known for his composition of the widely popular lullaby “Sa Ugoy ng Duyan” (in collaboration with another National Artist, Levi Celerio) and the symphonic poem “Lahing Kayumanggi”, Lucio San Pedro has paved the Pinoy world of music with plenty of his beautiful compositions bearing national soul.

For the collection, it is composed of a wide array of casual to work tops and dresses using fabrics such as satinized twills, matte charmeuse, poplins and knits. Now let me take you back to the event. The celebration was launched with a tribute event held last May 28, Tuesday at The Row in Glorietta. With Lucio San Pedro’s music in the background played by a live string ensemble, it was definitely a night filled with nationalistic grandeur attended by Philippine fashion and music enthusiasts, media, bloggers, and family and friends of Lucio San Pedro.

The guests were able to witness the unveiling of the much-anticipated Fall Collection for 2013 featuring a wide array of tops and dresses with designs complementing Lucio San Pedro’s musical aesthetics. Hosted by Rachel Alejandro, the event started with a video montage of San Pedro’s life and works.

The guests were also treated to a beautiful medley of songs prepared by high school students straight from Lucio’s hometown, the ARS Noveau Chorale from Angono Rizal Lead School for the Arts.

They awed the audience with hits such as Sa Mahal Kong Bayan, Piliin Mo ang Pilipinas, Kayumangging Malaya and Sa Ugoy ng Duyan.

Also a respected musical talent herself, Ms. Rachel Alejandro serenaded the audience with a medley of her hit songs (Watch the video soon).

Of course the night wouldn’t be complete without Lucio San Pedro’s beloved family being present. The night’s special guests, Kristy San Pedro Salita, Rhodora San Pedro delos Santos, Alberto delos Santos and Prof. Gabby San Pedro Rojas, did a special interview with Rachel onstage.

Every time Freeway hold events for their NACS, it never fails to make me proud to be a Filipino. I always look forward to who the next amazing artist they’ll pay tribute to and how they will collaborate his works to their collection.

Freeway just always amaze me on every collection they release.

It’s the time of the year again, when all those who love and is passionate about Fashion and its Art gather to share the same interest. Some present their own collection while most watch as they strut down the runway. Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2013 just ended and since I’ve watched most of the shows this season, let me share to you what I think from the collection showcased by the brands and designers who participated this season. First stop is Day 1 and the first show for this season is The SM Store featuring SM Ladies’ Fashion and Parisian.

One thing I noticed about The SM Store’s show is that they didn’t present their Holiday Collection 2013 but rather their Summer Collection which I think is timely so I enjoyed it. The collection were pieces from The SM Store’s brands such as Philisophy, NY Square, Studios S, Folio, my favorite Coco Cobana and etc. SM Ladies’ Fashion ambassadors Divine Lee, Ingrid Chua-Go, and Ruffa Gutierrez also walked down the runway for The SM Store’s show.

I love the prints from these pieces. I think they are perfect to add more texture to your outfit and the colors will make you stand out.

Even simple colored dresses were made to look beautiful with the way they were tailored, and these are definitely flattering.

These two looks were one of my favorites, I love the simple color but complex texture. I want to own the blazer!

Divine Lee walked down the runway with a maximized peplum skirt which I love!

I always liked matching print on print on my outfits like florals on florals so I love how these and the following were styled. I think they worked beautifully because the colors were matched so well.

I think these outfits were amazing! I love how they were styled.

Swimsuits from The SM Store that were a definite summer must-haves. Unique prints and patterns, perfect for the beach!

My favorite from the show were these maxi summer dresses! This is why I love Coco Cabana, I love how their pieces are very eye-catching and just simply pretty. I would love to have every summer dress I saw down the runway!

Over all, the show was great and the pieces were all lovely! Knowing that The SM Store’s clothes are very affordable, I know everyone are dying to shop these. I think they were very wearable and the outfits that walked down the runway were put together really well that made it more pleasing to the eyes. Plus, the shoes from Parisian are so nice! They were the pairs that I best know for quality while being very affordable.

I have always liked this quote from YSL and I couldn’t agree more. I think that you can wear a pair of jeans with almost anything. You can be bold, sophisticated, classy, casual.
